Terms of service

Last updated: 6 May 2026

These terms govern your use of Bookzyr. By creating an account or joining the waitlist, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

1. The service

Bookzyr is a booking, payments and marketing platform for salons, barbers, spas and similar businesses. We provide it under a subscription, with optional payment processing through BookzyrPay (powered by Stripe). The service is provided by Bookzyr Pty Ltd ("Bookzyr", "we", "us") under Australian law.

2. Eligibility & accounts

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these rules.

4. Subscription, fees & payment

5. Free trial & waitlist

If we offer a free trial, you can cancel at any time before it ends without being charged. Joining the waitlist does not create a paid subscription — it simply tells us you're interested. Waitlist members may be offered launch pricing or early-access discounts; specific offers will be confirmed by email.

6. Cancellation & refunds

7. Your data & content

You own the data you put into Bookzyr (clients, bookings, services, photos). We license the right to host, process and display it solely to provide the service to you. You are responsible for:

We process this data under our Privacy policy.

8. Intellectual property

The Bookzyr name, logo, website, software and documentation are owned by Bookzyr Pty Ltd. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the service while your subscription is active. You may not copy, modify, redistribute or create derivative works without our written permission.

9. Third-party services

Bookzyr integrates with third-party services such as Stripe, Google, Meta and Apple. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We're not responsible for their availability or behaviour.

10. Service availability

We aim for 99.9% monthly uptime, excluding scheduled maintenance. We may need to release updates, perform maintenance, or temporarily suspend the service for security reasons. We'll give reasonable notice when we can.

11. Warranty disclaimer

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent allowed by law, we disclaim all warranties — express or implied — including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Nothing in these terms excludes consumer rights you cannot waive under Australian Consumer Law.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, our total liability to you for any claim relating to the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, including lost profits or lost data.

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold Bookzyr harmless from claims arising out of (a) your use of the service in breach of these terms, (b) your violation of a third party's rights, or (c) your processing of your clients' personal data.

14. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms, fail to pay, or pose a risk to us or other users. On termination, your access ends and we will delete or anonymise your data per the Privacy policy.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be notified by email or in-app at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated terms.

16. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any dispute that can't be resolved informally will be heard in the courts of New South Wales.
